Privacy policy
This website is operated by Akvilė Balsytė, Vilnius, Lithuania. This page explains which personal data is collected on the site and how it is used.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are received by the designer. They are used only to reply to you and, if a project follows, to carry it out. They are not sold, shared with third parties or added to any mailing list. The form is provided by Squarespace, which stores submissions on the designer's behalf under its own privacy terms. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted twelve months after the last message.
Clients
For clients, contact details, briefs and project files are kept for five years after the project ends, so that files can be supplied again on request, and are then deleted. Invoices and related records are kept for ten years, as Lithuanian accounting law requires.
Cookies and statistics
The site is built on Squarespace, which sets the cookies required for the site to function. Squarespace also collects anonymous visit statistics, such as pages opened, time spent and country of origin, which are used to understand how the site is read. This data does not identify you. The site uses no advertising cookies and no social network tracking pixels.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may request access to the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Requests can be sent through the contact form and are answered within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).

For any question about your data, write to privacy@balsyte.com or use the contact form on this site.
